Salam! I'm currently entering my third year of studies at Northwestern University in Qatar! I'm a student journalist, researcher, and documentary filmmaker, specifically interested in producing films that overcome creative boundaries in reimagining traditional islamic practices within a research fellowship I'm currently pursuing. I'd developed a strong passion for sound design and field recording after completing advanced sound production courses in both film and broadcast sound and I look forward to continue building my skills

I've been drawn to the production side of sound design after learning how neglected of a sense sound is usually perceived as in media. Where most fellow university classmates were drawn to cinematography camera courses, I became curious to learn about different types of microphones, sound mixers, wireless routers , stereo set-ups, with a constant drive to learn more about this exciting field. You can almost always find me with a pair of headphones, with new stories of experimenting with my documentary field recordings on Adobe Audition, which has caused me to be known around campus as the sound enthusiast!
